26 is actually 22:D

unlike the mundanity of some weeks, last week was different:) my army pals shook my hands and congratulated me on turning 22:D little did i know what was happening. they positioned themselves strategically leading into one of the cubicle in the office. i happily shook this one. that one. this one. that one. just when i stepped into the cubicle.. -.- i was markerlised by red, black and blue all over. 20 vs 1...err..kinda cheating right? haha. yea..then they treated me to this restaurant at burlington square called, "fatty's restaurant" haha. black pepper crab, fried cereal prawns, fried yam, omelette, curry fishhead and sambal kang kong:D wooh! good stuff man!:D but i think it burnt their pockets. heehee:P and birthday wishes subsquently came flowing in like niagara falls:D so much love from so many people!:):) thank God for planting so many wonderful people in my life:):) blessed!

okok:) hmm coming week will be quite chillaxed:) tuesday got 'treasure hunting' and thursday got 'ki-ka-boom!' haha! i hope you know what i mean:P ohh ohh! tmr i'm going BSF!:D YAY!:):) i'll go right after i see my specialist in the late afternoon:) yupyup! hmm can pray for my specialist appointment tmr! pray that the doctor will use the knowledge God has given him to correctly and accurately diagnose my problem:) and also for my preparation for my 'NAPFA' test. building back up my stamina again:) my sunday school kids too! most of them are having common test this week. pray for endurance to mug, ability to absorb and apply knowledge during their test and to not be tempted to cheat!:D:D thank you!!

aaaaahhhhhh~ so lei! :/ finished my guard duty this morning then chiong to church then practice for lent service then attended caring seminar part 3:D:D i think i'm going siao ting tong. haha. erm..yah..later gotta book in. :S anyhows, my week has been a valley-like-shaped:D hee. so happy and at the same time nervous that i could make it to mei's farewell!:):) my friends are just superb people lah! zhu peng gou you! *translation "pig-fri-dog-ends"* we just went sneaky sneaky:P *apologies cannot reveal online* a thrilling experience i would say. on my way down, honestly, i was anxious, my heart was racing exceedingly fast (partly due to the 140km/h drive) and i didnt know what to say or how to react upon reaching. my friends still said they will be my 'wings'. one on each side. the very moment after they said it, i turned back. they smoked out. thanks lorr. but yah..managed to pull out the courage to speak to her. WOW! :) although my voice was a little jerky and knees were shaking, there i was in front of her, talking. i'm not going to share the contents but i thank her for answering. :) answering some of the questions in my head. things are clearer now:) there's room for all of us to grow. tagging along would be patience for the faithful Lord to guide. :) may i trust that Our Providing Lord showers love and patience for this seedling of friendship to be nurtured tenderly in His time:)

i want to say more! :) but i'll leave it till sometime in the week:):) the gist is about patience that is inline with today's sermon;) ãhh rejuvenated already in His word. jiayou!:):)

prayer requests: pray that i'll spend good time reading and reflecting His word, re-reading what've learnt over today's caring seminar part 3 (caring in exhortation), caring and praying for the people around me! which reminds me, azarel is going to scotland alone to find his sister?!?! pray for safety! *awww..so sweet:):)* keeping my testimony for Him alive and burning for Him!:):)

pray for my MRI scan tmr:( tmr i'll be going to Camden Medical Centre at 0830hrs to do my MRI. pray for a good and accurate diagnosis of my back. pray also for mei. she'll be leaving on thursday:(:(:(:( ultimate sadness. pray that she will adapt back to study life after 2 months of solid break...tsktsk:P yah..also for her next placement:):) pray that the seniors and patients will be understanding and patient with her:):) haha! ohhh..pray also that i can come out on thurs to send her off. which i really really hope to have even if it means doing more duties:) keep her safe and warm too!:)

"steamboat ah! steamboat! barbeque ah! barbeque!" yup! the past few days were eat, catch-up, eat, mahjong a little with my uncles and aunties, drink (oolong tea), eat, and visit here and there:D. today is probably the last of my visitations. my sis and i went to help out with the PRCs teens cny celebration at hongyan chuan dao's place @ cedar ave. haha. not many people went, but i'm sure we had fun fellowshipping:):) and i managed to learn how to make jiaozhi!!! wheee!!

super fun just chilling out with them:) i remember some of their names! He Jia, Yi Heng, Wen Jun, Jing Yi..etc etc. see! i can still rmb their names..but whether or not i can match their names to their faces is all together another issue:P:P yup! later in the evening, went over to my all time favourite tutors' place @ dover rise! they're the best!:):) i felt so at home at their place...ohh the husband and wife both taught me before. we talked about how much we've grown over the years, shared each other's cares and worries and laughed about how come only their tuition centre's aircon is always so cold and the other units in the building MUCHEM sauna. they're Christians! :):) we exchanged our prayer requests and prayed for one another:) ahhh~ it was good fellowship:) they rock!

yup! using i-net at an internet cafe nearby:) my ar.my dudes are gaming now and i'm respawning from my death. :):) thus i'm writing this entry. here is my prayer request!:) tomorrow i'll be going for another of my many physiotherapy @ SGH:) pray for the therapy effect to take effect on my back. haha. yea...pray also for meimei's headache that has been ongoing for 3days already:(:( pray that her cares will be lifted!:) and teow to draw inspiration for his poster:) thank you very much!

p.s: i ran and ran today. i crossed the finish line and hobbled aside and looked up to the sky and gasped. stretched my lung muscles to take in a little more. and i thought of a couple of random things..God's strength, you, my wobbly thighs, milk tea, the need to clean my room and my friend that dragged my a** pass the finish line. my random happening:)

ehey! haha..i like this sound!:):) its like something that is going to fall or break then you sound off this attempting to rescue. do i make sense? haha. sunday liao. went to church by bus today. i know my family will confirm be late again. thus yah...made it a point to bus this morning. yup!:):) it was nice to go to church early, grabbing kaya toast and tea on the way and sitting at the amphi-theatre waiting for people to stream in. nathalie and her sister nicole came in first. :D cant help but laugh. nathalie wearing her OBS shirt?!?! that memorable huh..hahaha. so i asked and asked. and she poke and poke. *fast forward* sunday school kids were good. felt that by using structured questions and answers to analyse a passage was a wonderful thing to have. the students used their brains! :):) happy that my group had alot of self control. after 2nd service, went to celebrate my grandma's 76th birthday at some restaurant in OCBC centre. yea..talked to my cousins. uncles and aunties, as usual, "wah! you've grown taller and fitter alr ah?" i lamed back, "no lah! its the low ceiling that drew the contrast *roll eyes*" so approached AH MA and shook her fragile hand. chatted with my cousins who were mostly 15 to 19. went back to church for the da zhu bible study. :) kenna surprised with a feb babies chocolate cake. shared with tuan qi my prayer requests for the year.

some thoughts i gathered from teow which i thought it was quite true. its about caring for others. what happens when there's no reciprocation from the person whom you would like to care for? do you still insist caring for that person? he shared that sometimes when a person reacts this way, could be coz the person is more comfortable sharing with another caregiver. not meant to be rude or dao. insist in caring? maybe more on a superficial level coz the person just isnt comfortable sharing with you.

i guess today will probably be the last time i'll be seeing you in singapore. can't thank God enough still seeing you back in singapore:) wells, you know that i'll continue to keep you in my prayers. keep on shining for the Lord and know that His love never fails. take care mei with truck loads of His faithful love!:):)

weekends are here and i'm typing a post:) this post will not describe anything about (ar.my). it'll be about my yesterday, my friday:D yesterday morning i went for my physiotherapy @SGH. did the usual. physiotherapist got a shock at the extent of 'damage' after my outfield. haha..'work ur magic!' i thought to myself. later after it, i went to funan to get a cheap haircut from kimage school of hairdressing:D quite an experience. i got shampoo and cut for $6. beat that! :D yup! and if i made an appointment a day earlier, there's 20%discount. beat that twice! yahh..got a chinese hairdresser. she was the highlight of the cut. after listening to my requirements, she got so overwhelmed by my expectations that the moment she picked up her comb and combed my hair, 'tatatatatatatatata' was the sound that rang in my head. the comb tapped me. for the next 45 mins. nice..i told her, '放轻颂, just cut what u're most confident and we'll work from there' hahaha..morale boosted. her teacher took over. haha! now i look like a rebel. :S
